In Nebraska, 19-year-old Jessica O’Grady was making her way through college by working as a waitress at a local restaurant. She was in her sophomore year and had recently become interested in becoming a teacher. She was majoring in social studies and had been also working at a daycare, where she realized how passionate she was about childhood education.
