I predicted the global financial crisis as long ago as December 2005. As an expert on Hyman Minsky/'s /"Financial Instability Hypothesis/" and Irving Fisher/'s /"Debt Deflation Theory of Great Depressions/", it was obvious from the levels of private debt and asset market overvaluation that a serious financial crisis was imminent. I knew that the conventional /"neoclassical/" economics establishment would be taken completely by surprise by it. I felt an obligation to warn the public before the crisis hit. This podcast, updated irregularly, discusses the issues raised in my monthly Debtwatch Report, and the /"global financial crisis news du jour/".
