He had developed something of an addiction to so-called “mommy blogs” over the past couple of months. Every time he went down this rabbit-hole, he felt worse and worse about himself. The blogs were mostly cloying descriptions of perfect families, with just enough judgement of any differing choices and ‘non-traditional families’ to ensure that Steve always felt worse about himself at the end of a session than he had at the start.
