The Winx Chronicles is a fan-created rewrite and re-imagining of the Winx Club franchise written by Joshua L. Martone. The project began in 2021 following the release of the Netflix series Fate: The Winx Saga, as the author felt inspired to write a "better, more interesting and more adult version" of the Winx Club story than what the television adaptation provided.Rather than acting as a direct novelization or retelling of the original cartoon, the project is envisioned as a series of six adult epic fantasy sci-fi books that expand upon and re-imagine the familiar characters.
